Our story
From a two-man crew to a full design-build studio
ShadeCraft started in a single garage in Montclair with a table saw, a ladder and a simple promise: the people who design your shade system are the people who build it. Eighteen years and 850+ projects later, that promise still holds.
Today our studio includes architectural designers, structural engineers, fabricators and installers — but no subcontractors and no hand-offs. When you work with us, the craftspeople at your survey are the ones at your install.
